Joined – Everything to Everything, Everyone to Everyone
The internal structure of our bodies is one of connectivity – systems linked to systems, structures reflected as both similarities and differences.
In this workshop, we will take our time and use sensation, touch, and breath to bring us into present moment consciousness. Sensing and touching, like breathing, are such familiar, everyday, moment-to-moment events, that we often forget to acknowledge their existence, and yet they can trigger processes that lead to states of being where the embodiment of internal space becomes available. Space gives us latitude to engage with both our inner and outer environments while uncovering, observing and refining our distinctive movement styles.
Using movement explorations and improvisational scores, we can assimilate our experiences and insights into choice-making that is responsive and relevant to what arises internally and in the space around us at any given moment. We can consciously embody the indisputable fact that we function through connectedness – everything to everything, and everyone to everyone.
